Being one of six siblings, birthdays come and go so fast for me because my family is so large. It has been even more of a challenge since relocating overseas and moving in with my brother, his wife, and twin sons. The boys are turning 8 next week and in my typical laid back fashion, I have waited until the last minute to get them the remote control cars they have had their hearts set on for months. It is my job as the young and “hip” aunt to get them the coolest pair of cars their mates have ever seen.
As something of an “Internet Diva” who is always pressed for time, I do almost all of my shopping online. Since I tend to pick items that are predominantly from US based stores that don’t ship directly overseas, I made the decision to sign up with a parcel forwarding company called Bongo International. Bongo gave me a US Address, and the freedom to shop on a great site, Hobbytron.com, and purchase the Ferrari F430 Spider Model Electric RC Car and the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster RC Car. Two super racing replicas designed for speed, torque, and well, more speed. (At least that’s what my nephews told me.)
Everything went so smooth, even at the last minute! I was able to track my consolidated package on
Bongo International’s user-friendly website and even had some money left over after the inexpensive shipping rates to throw in a pair of shoes for myself in the same order. After ordering the remote control cars for the upcoming birthday party and receiving them on my doorstep in only 5 days, I am seriously considering getting a head start on my Christmas shopping and purchasing 2 Megatech B3 Bomber RTF RC Airplanes from HobbyTron also. Those ought to drive my brother crazy at the dinner table!
